Tommy Tuberville is an American professional football coach, and politician. A Republican, he has been a U.S. Senator from Alabama, since January 3, 2021.

Tommy is the son of Olive Nell (Chambliss) and Charles Roe Tuberville, Jr. He is married to Suzanne Fette, with whom he has two children.

Tommy’s paternal grandfather was Charles Roe Tuberville (the son of Eldridge Edmond Pitchford Tuberville and Louisa Hankins). Eldridge was born in North Carolina, the son of Joseph Tuberville, Jr. and Sarah Quimby. Louisa was born in Georgia, the daughter of James A. Hankins and Jane Kitchens.

Tommy’s paternal grandmother was Hester Virginia Benson (the daughter of Isaac Allen Benson and Mary Malinda Cox). Isaac was born in Tennessee, the son of James T. Benson and Nancy Lucinda Gothard. Mary was born in Arkansas, the daughter of William M. Cox and Harriet F. Elizabeth Hays.
