Tara is the daughter of Lucy and Syd Charendoff. She is married to American actor and real estate agent Craig Strong, with whom she has two children. She lives in Los Angeles, and has dual citizenship.
One of her grandfathers was a cantor.
Tara’s paternal grandfather was Jack Charendoff (the son of Josef Charendoff and Toby/Toba/Tillie Neiman). Jack was born in Ontario, to parents from Russia.
Tara’s paternal grandmother was Ida Gryfe (the daughter of Samuel/Sam Gryfe and Molly Monblat/Moonblood). Ida was born in Hamilton, Wentworth, Ontario. Molly was born in Botosani, Romania.

The problem I have with that genealogy is that Joseph John Boyce has his fingers all over it, so I don’t know what to believe. Some of it may be true.
