Scott Walker is an American politician. A Republican, he served as the 45th Governor of Wisconsin, from January 3, 2011 to January 7, 2019. He was previously the 5th Milwaukee County Executive, from April 30, 2002 to December 27, 2010, among other duties.

He was a candidate for the Republican Party’s nomination for President of the United States in 2016.

Scott is the son of Patricia Ann (Fitch) and The Rev. Llewellyn Scott Walker, a Baptist pastor. He was raised in Plainfield, Iowa, and then Delavan, Wisconsin. He is married to Tonette Marie (Tarantino), with whom he has two children.

Scott is of approximately 3.5/8ths, or 43.75%, German ancestry. Scott’s father has Welsh, German, English, Scottish, Irish, and Bohemian Czech ancestry. Scott’s mother is of three quarters German ancestry, with her other roots including English.

Scott’s paternal grandfather was Alfred Thomas Walker (the son of Delbert Thomas Walker and Edna Rosalba Persons). Alfred was born in Nebraska. Delbert was the son of Thomas Walker, who was born in Québec, Canada, to Scottish/Irish parents, and of Mary Alice Tewkesbury. Edna was the daughter of Edmond/Edmund Potter Persons and Amanda Reed.

Scott’s paternal grandmother was Elizabeth Ann Llewellyn (the daughter of Thomas Reese Llewellyn and Ethel Marie Shader). Elizabeth was born in Illinois. Thomas was the son of Thomas Llewellyn and Elizabeth Reese, who were Welsh, from Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales. Ethel was the daughter of Augustus Edward Shader, who was from Bohemia, and was likely an ethnic German, and of Ann Maria Kitt.

Scott’s maternal grandfather was Raymond Stuart Fitch (the son of George Fitch and Alice Maud Tobyne). Raymond was born in Illinois. George was the son of Jacob Fitch and Sophia Winkler, who were German. Alice was the daughter of Hiram Willis Tobyne and M. Almira “Mira” Moss.

Scott’s maternal grandmother was Eleanor Madalane Brown (the daughter of Irving H. Brown and Magdolane M. Hauck). Eleanor was born in Illinois. Irving’s father, Joseph Brown, was born in Wisconsin, to German parents. Irving’s mother, Margaret Schwind, was German. Magdolane’s parents, George Hauck and Mary Schmitt, were also German.

I am not requesting we add this to his profile or anything, but Scott Walker’s 22nd great grandfather was the king Naples, Sicily, and Jerusalem. Charles I from Geni.com :)

Scott Kevin Walker is a very nice, generous man! He looks very mediterranean in my opinion. I could see him having some Ashkenazi Jewish and/or Italian ancestry going back far enough. In fact I think he probably does have Ashkenazi Jewish and Italian ancestry in the past 500 years :-) Keep on Scott Kevin Walker you’re a great individual who is also a ladies man!

Scott Walker’s wife is of half Italian descent.

I don’t know about Scott Walker being Jewish, but Donald Trump’s maternal grandfather was definitely Jewish.

Of course, I’m talking about Donald Trump III (born February 2009), grandson of Charles Hochberg/Haydon.

I knew Scott Walker’s wife had Italian ancestry with the last name “Tarantino.” I still think Walker looks Italian or Jewish even though he has no documented ancestry of either one. But isn’t it possible or even likely he has Ashkenazi Jewish or Italian ancestry in the past 500 years? I mean 23andme puts a lot of people as .1%-2% Ashkenazi ancestry including a lot of my family members.

Scott Kevin Walker is the best! Walker, Jay Baruchel, and I look A LOT alike. All three of us have partial Irish heritage. Coincidence? Bearboy doesn’t think so :)

Goodbye Loser… he should probably run for congress or a faith group after his term is up.

My friends aunt was really sad when Scott Walker left the race she and a lot of other people thought Walker was the most attractive of the 17 GOP and 6 Democratic candidates who ran for president.

  5. bearboy says:

Yea you’re right. Who do you think is the GOP nomination? Also any chance of a Biden nomination?

    • follers says:

It will probably be Marco Rubio or Donald Trump.

      I really hate Rubio.

I don’t think Joe Biden will run. It will be Hillary by March instead of February (because of Bernie Sanders).

      • bearboy says:

Oh okay. Mind if I ask what’s especially bad about Rubio in your opinion? Also does he have any Native American ancestry or almost to fully Spaniard blood?

        • follers says:

I don’t know Rubio’s genealogy since it isn’t available online. He seems very indigenous to me if I had to guess, which I usually don’t.

Rubio is a typical suck-up, like Obama was in 2008.

His candidacy announcement especially annoyed me, basically saying he’s a better pick than Hillary and Jeb because he’s young and they’re old (in which case they should nominate Tom Cotton, who’s six years younger than Rubio, or as you said Logan Lerman). And also saying he’s the candidate of “new ideas”, also because of his age, even though he hasn’t mentioned any so far.

I also can’t stand the story about how his parents were poor immigrants who never saw a dollar in their lives, etc., etc. He’s repeated this story at least three dozen times, and if he’s the nominee we’re in store for a hundred more.

This was actually parodied in the film The Girl Next Door, 11 years ago, with the Hispanic overachiever character who gives a speech saying: “…but my best teacher has always been my mother… a woman who worked three jobs trying to support me ever since I was a little niña. I will never forget the day she said to me… “Si trabajas duro, todo es posible.””

          Sound familiar?

Rubio also fibbed about his background. He had stated many times that his parents left Cuba to escape Fidel Castro. Then it was revealed that his parents had actually left Cuba several years before Castro took power. I hope Donald Trump uses that against him when he has to.

          • bearboy says:

Okay. Off topic excited for season three of Finding Your Roots? One of our favorite Hispanic politician John McCain is going to be on it :)

          • follers says:

They’ll talk about Ty Burrell’s Malagasy ancestor, so that’s good.

I’m also interested in knowing more about Bill Maher, Julianna Margulies, Keenen Ivory Wayans, and Julianne Moore’s ancestry. I know nothing about Moore’s father’s side.

        “I really hate Rubio”

        Don’t worry, he’s out now.
