Robin Gibb was a British singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was a member of the pop group Bee Gees, along with his brothers Barry Gibb and Maurice Gibb.

Robin was the son of Barbara M. (Pass) and Hugh Leslie Gibb. He was married to author and artist Dwina Murphy, until his death. He had a son with Dwina; two children with his former wife Molly Hullis; and one child with Claire Yang.

Robin’s paternal grandfather was Hugh Gibb (the son of Matthew Gibb and Mary Jane James/Clinton). Hugh was born in Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Matthew was born in Paisley, Scotland, the son of William Gibb and Agnes Kilpatrick. Mary Jane was born in Farrington Gurney, England.
