Yes those are her natural green eyes and before she became as famous as she is now she had hair down her back before it had to be styled constantly for performances. She is beautiful and its sad to see the ignorant comments from SOME people on this site. Stop grouping everyone together!

From what I’ve read, she doesn’t deny who she is. I agree with both Shan and Red. It doesn’t matter as longa s you just emrbace all of who you are, not just part of it. You can look like you are black, white, asian, latina-everything else, and be proud of it, while also embracing the parts of you that blended in the mix. After all, without being part of any of that, who we be who we are? Would any of us have been born? Thats like saying you accept one part of your heritage because you look like that part of your heritage, but ignore the other part because you dont. Thats like loving only one parent and ignoring the other one existed. You have to love both because you are part of both, regardless of what you look like or are accepted as. Its just fact. People are people, you can put a label on it or not. Just accept and be happy with that.

I hate all this labeling of races.I for example am a dark skinned hispanic Puerto Rican.I have a quarter Irish in me I can Identify with both because thats what I am.Rihanna does the same thing if you ask her she’d probably answer Barbadian,or Black but she’s been known to identify her Irish blood but because she’s more Black people think the white in her doesn’t count. Why do people do this, this is a real question plz answer.

I don’t know about in other countries, but in here in America we tend to identify people for what they look like. America has a very racist history and we placed a lot of value on race. In the past, if you had even a drop of Black blood in you, you were considered Black. It didn’t matter if you were 25% this or that. If people knew that you were mixed [aka Black], you still had to sit in the back of the bus and you still couldn’t get into certain clubs or shops. Being partially White had no value whatsoever. And even today, if you look mainly Black/Asian/Native/etc- people don’t care if you’re 20% this and 15% that. You still look Black. Or Asian. Or Native American. Or whatever you are. And that won’t change. You’ll always look like this race or that race. People won’t insult you for taking pride in your Irish heritage, but don’t expect them to jump up and down with shock/excitement either… If you’re only a quarter, you shouldn’t really be surprised that people identify you more so with the 75% than with the hardly noticeable 25%. They aren’t insulting you by assuming you’re. Unless you consider being call Black an insult. Personally, I honestly wouldn’t say that that 25% counts for much… Maybe if it was 50%- as in one of your parents is full blooded…but 25%? I probably wouldn’t even be able to see it.

Anyhow, you shouldn’t put yourself in a box. Just label yourself as a human being. It makes things easier in my opinion.
