Their genes and genome are the starters of the human race. Black people can be homogeneously lighter and lighter skinned, if their DnA is exposed less and less high UV rays, different latitude and altitude (under, over and on equator) etc.

I’m mixed, half and half, there’s no escaping the fact that I’m mixed my mum is white, English but black people are always desperate to label me as a black girl, I wouldn’t be ashamed to be labelled as a black girl but I would be ashamed to ignore the fact that I am just as white as I am black. Criminals, thugs and etc make black people who had white kown parents to claim their white ancestries. It’s a social issue rather than “racial” as well. I live in a town in Michigan where there’s a lot of mixed people , and
I also have mixed nephews (1’2 white 1/2 black), me and everyone else call them exactly what they are mixed. I’m a light skinned and people always think that one of my parents are white, but my father is of creole descent, and my mothers father is mixed, but I still consider my race as black because that’s how my family raised me and because both of my parents and the rest of my family consider themselves as black.
I think roses just means that if theirs a light skinned black person who isn’t mixed people automatically assume that their mixed, when some of the time they are not.

I get it. What “pure black” looks like is a very dark person with broad features and short kinky hair. The closer you look to that, the blacker you are thought to be. But even in African, from the VERY BEGINNING that is NOT the only way black looked or looks. This stereotype of what black looks like – or negroid phenotype has always been thought by whites as ugly and black people the world over have internalized the sense of it being ugly. Blacks are also thought to be terrible people by character – morally bankrupt, savage, and ignorant. Therefore, black people are ashamed of what they are. To be black is synonymous with being ugly and of low moral character. Who wants to be that? People consistently try to distance themselves from the stigma of blackness. One way to do that is to overemphasize other ancestry however remote it may be.
Myself, I know that I have Native American and European ancestry. But because I am chocolate skinned, with kinky hair and brown eyes I would look crazy claiming it. But people who look like me will and have. I’ve heard it. Only light-skinned people of African ancestry can claim it, and be socially accepted doing so because they are never considered “pure black” anyway even if they have two black parents without any direct mixture. I know plenty of light skinned people who are “just black,” including my youngest sister.
The fact is black is considered ugly, it’s a stigma to be black, and many blacks do have a slave mentality about it and will try to distance themselves from being black. Sad but true.

In a serious note, not all light skinned are pure mutations, either. Admixtures do not always result in the light skin or what is considered European features. Case in point: Hutu and Tutsi tribes in Africa. The Tutsis swore up and down along with the Belgium’s propaganda ( of course) , that they were of European stock due to their straight noses, and other features and the Hutus were not mixed b/c they were short and stockier and had “traditional West African features”. Well guess what, they are almost ancestrally Identical. The concept of race is unscientific. I live in a “white” neighbourhood where I’m surprised to see other black people walking around because it’s so rare in my area. I find it weird walking around London because there are so many because I grew up in a “white” area. I’ve never been “chased” because I’m mixed. You need to grow up. My thoughts exactly. I am Black my skin color is brown. My mother is fair skinned and often mistaken for something other than Black. My mother’s father was extremely fair and was thought to be White but he was also Black. My mother’s mother was brown skin as I am. You can’t look at a persons skin color to determine their race. Blacks come in all colors from the Beautiful Black Black to the Beautiful Brown Brown down to the Lovely Light through the Fierce Fair so if you try to clump Blacks into a color bag you’ll be trying to do that forever.
