Richard Farnsworth was an American actor and stuntperson. He was known for his roles in the films The Grey Fox, Misery, The Straight Story, Comes a Horseman, Anne of Green Gables (1985), Highway to Hell, and Lassie (1994), among many others.
He was the son of Bertha Pennington (Miller) and Edward George Farnsworth. He was married to Margaret Hill, until her death, with whom he had two children.
