Richard Belzer was an American comedian, author, and actor. He was known for his roles on the series Homicide: Life on the Street and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and in the films Author! Author!, The Wrong Guys, The Puppet Masters, Not of This Earth, Get on the Bus, and Species II.
Richard was the son of Frances and Charles Belzer. He was married to actress Harlee McBride, until his death.
