Paul Baloff is an American singer. He was a lead singer of thrash metal band Exodus. Kirk Hammett and Steve Souza have also been members of Exodus. Paul also sang for other bands.

Paul was the son of Barbara (Madison) and Nicolai/Nicholas Boris Balackvishicoff/Baloff. His father was Russian, born in Saint Petersburg, and became a U.S. citizen in 1929. His mother was American, and was of half Swedish descent, along with English, Irish, German, and Swiss-German.

Paul’s paternal grandfather likely was named Boris Balackvishicoff.

Paul’s maternal grandfather was George Edmond Madison (the son of John George Madison and Eloise/Alise B. Norgren). George was born in California, to Swedish parents.

Paul’s maternal grandmother was Nell Rose Hindman (the son of John Thomas Hindman and Rebecca Anne Starr). Nell was born in California. John was the son of Silas Hampton Hindman, whose father was Irish, and Cynthia Jane Smith. Rebecca was the daughter of Simon Stair and Irene Jane Severson.
