Nyasha Hatendi is an American-born British actor, director, writer and producer. He has appeared in the films The Front Runner and Pooka!, and on the shows Casual and Alex Rider.

He was born in Washington, D.C., the son of Zimbabwean parents, Angelina and David Tapuwa Hatendi, a businessperson, entrepreneur, and banker. His father was originally from Marandellas, Southern Rhodesia, now Marondera, Zimbabwe. He is pictured here. Nyasha was raised in the U.S., the U.K., and Zimbabwe. He is said to be of Shona descent.

Nyasha’s paternal grandfather was named Frederick Hatendi.

Nyasha’s paternal grandmother was named Joyce.

Nyasha’s maternal grandfather’s surname was Musewe.
