His parents were Polish Jews who met in Israel. He is married to pediatric neuropsychologist Catherine Stern, with whom he has two children.

Noam’s maternal grandmother was named Rachel Ruhl.
I was wrong. Noam Bramson appears to be 100% Ashkenazi Jewish. His paternal grandparents are indeed as stated above. His maternal grandparents were Jona Rozen and Rachel (Ruhl). Jona was the son of Yehoshua Rosen and Chaia Mindl. Please add to profile. thanks
Shouldn’t Noam Bramson be tagged as Israeli and Israeli Jewish?
I believe he isn’t 100% Ashkenazi Jewish. I thought he had some Polish non-Jewish ancestry.
How do you know that?
Can’t name his ancestors but friends father has interviewed the mayor of New Rochelle many times.
He may have been wrong of misheard but it is very possibly true.
I looked deeper into his ancestry you were right @Follers, Noam Bramson was mistaken no ethnic Polish ancestry. Bramson’s father I believe was Morris Bramson (1930-1995), the son of Rafael Bramson (1906-1985) and Jospa Piekarz (1897-1994). Rafael was the son of Ruchel and Avraham Bramson. All of them were Polish Jewish. It appears Noam Bramson’s mothers maiden name was Rozen and she was the daughter of Rachel and Jona Rozen, who were also Polish Jews.
Hey y’all on de happy website! I met Noam Bramson he has some Polish non-Jewish roots as well. He is da mayor of New Rochelle.
