Nathan Larson is an American musician and author.

Nathan is married to Swedish singer, songwriter, and actress Nina Persson, with whom he has a son.

Nathan’s patrilineal ancestry can be traced back to his sixth great-grandfather, Nils Johansson Skrått Churfurste Skottfri (January 19, 1717, Burträsk, Västerbotten – March 30, 1792, Lövånger, Västerbotten).

Nathan’s paternal grandfather was Louis Edward Larson (the son of Lars Petter Larsson, later Louis Peter Larson, and of Klara Albertina Forslind). Nathan’s grandfather Louis was born in Washington. Nathan’s great-grandfather Louis was a Swedish emigrant, from Bygdeå, Västerbotten, and was the son of Lars Gustaf Johansson and Johanna Andersdotter. Klara was also a Swedish emigrant, from Östra Ryd, Östergötland, and was the daughter of Per Forslind and Sara Helena Persdotter.

Nathan’s paternal grandmother was Evelyn Augusta Peterson (the daughter of Johan Petter Pettersson, later John Peter Peterson, and of Augusta Petersdotter, later Peterson). Evelyn was born in Michigan. John was a Swedish emigrant, from Nederluleå (now part of Gammelstaden), Norrbotten, and was the son of Nils Johan Pettersson and Johanna Persdotter. Augusta was also a Swedish emigrant, from Nederluleå, and was the daughter of Petrus Gustaffsson Norlin and Brita Katarina Persdotter.

Nathan’s maternal grandparents are John Earl Williamson and Jerry Lucille Hunter.
