She is the daughter of actress and photographer Kathy Fields (Kathy Lynn Fields) and actor, voice actor, comedian, composer, musician, and baseball scout David L. Lander (born David Leonard Landau). She is married to Jared Hillman.

Natalie’s paternal grandfather was named Saul Landau. Saul was a Polish Jewish immigrant.
