Miles Bakshi is an American actor.

He is the son of Gina Shay, a film producer, and Preston Bakshi, a screenwriter. He is the grandson of Ralph Bakshi, a legendary director of mostly animated films, usually adult-oriented, notably Fritz the Cat (1972) and Wizards (1977).

Miles’ paternal grandfather is Ralph Bakshi (the son of Eliezar Bakshi and Mina Zlotin). Ralph was born in Haifa, Palestinian mandate, now Israel, and is Jewish, of Krymchak Jewish descent. His family moved to New York, U.S., when he was a child. Miles’ great-grandfather Eliezar was the son of Mordechai Bakshi and Simcha Babu/Rebecca. Miles’ great-grandmother Mina was the daughter of Shmuel Zlotin, who was born in Rēzekne, Rēzeknes pilsēta, Latvia, and of Zhenja Serebro, who was born in Ostrov, Ostrovsky District, Pskov Oblast, Russia.

Miles’ paternal grandmother is named Elisabeth Bassett.

Miles’ maternal grandfather likely is named John Shay.
