Mike Disa is an American animator, director, and screenwriter. He began his animation work with Disney on their 1990s films. He has directed the films Dead Space: Aftermath, Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil, both of which he also co-wrote, and Postman Pat: The Movie, co-directed the film Dante’s Inferno: An Animated Epic, and directed episodes of Wacky Races.

He was raised near Marquette Park, on the South Side of Chicago. His father was an arts teacher. Mike is Catholic. He is married to Laura Hogan.

Mike’s paternal grandfather was Ezra Louis D’Isa (the son of Louis/Luigi Giovanni Pietro Giuseppe Giacomo Ottavio D’Isa and Florence Maselli). Ezra was born in New York.
