Melissa Ordway is an American actress and model. She has starred on the soap opera The Young and the Restless, and appeared in the films Miss March, 17 Again, The Last Song, In Time, Ted, and Odd Thomas.
Melissa is the daughter of Christine and John Ordway. She is married to singer, songwriter, model, and actor Justin Gaston, with whom she has two children.
Melissa’s paternal grandfather was George Shirley Ordway (the son of George A. Ordway and Allie Beatty). Melissa’s grandfather George was born in Maine. Melissa’s great-grandfather George was the son of Lenard W. Ordway and Albina Taylor, who was Canadian. Allie was the daughter of H. N. Beatty, who was born in Canada, to Scottish parents, and of Mary Darling.
Melissa’s paternal grandmother was Velma E. Horsman (the daughter of John Henry Horsman and Lillian A. Giles). Velma was born in Connecticut. Melissa’s maternal grandfather was Gilbert Vital “Sonny” O’Clair (the son of Felix Joseph O’Clair and Sophie/Sophia Boulier/Beaulieu). Gilbert was born in Maine. Felix was born in Maine, the son of French-Canadian parents, François-Clement Auclair and Anastasie Beaulieu. Sophie was also born in Maine, the daughter of French-Canadian parents, Vitale Beaulieu and Charlotte Cyr.
Melissa’s maternal grandmother is Charlene Beaulier (the daughter of William “Bill” Beaulier and Jessie M. Beaulier). Charlene was also of French descent. William was the son of Simon Beaulier and Phoebe Carney. Jessie was the daughter of Henry Beaulier and Rose Theriault.

I’ve just noticed that there is a note saying “mother tongue – indian” on the Rootsweb profiles of Melissa’s maternal great-great-grandparents François, Anastasie, Vitale, and Charlotte. I wonder what it actually means… They are listed as “white” on the U.S. and Canadian Census.

Follers, her grandfather’s last name really was Ordway. Ardway is probably a bad transcription. It’s Ordway on every other document. Allie’s last name was Beatty.
