Megan Fox

Fox in 2007

Birth Name: Megan Denise Fox

Place of Birth: Oak Ridge, Tennessee, U.S.

Date of Birth: May 16, 1986

Ethnicity: English, as well as small amounts of Scottish, German, Scots-Irish/Northern Irish, distant French and Welsh, possibly 1/512h Powhatan Native American

Megan Fox is an American actress and model. She is known for her roles in the films Holiday in the Sun, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Transformers, and its sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen; How to Lose Friends & Alienate People, Jennifer’s Body, Jonah Hex, Passion Play, Friends with Kids, The Dictator, This Is 40, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and its sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows; Above the Shadows, Zeroville, The Battle of Jangsari, Think Like a Dog, Rogue (2020), Till Death, Midnight in the Switchgrass, Night Teeth, Big Gold Brick, Taurus, Good Mourning, and Expend4bles, the made-for-tv movie Crimes of Fashion, and the series Hope & Faith and New Girl. She also co-created and hosted the show Legends of the Lost with Megan Fox.

Megan is the daughter of Gloria Darlene and Franklin Thomas Fox, a parole officer. A picture of her parents can be seen here. Megan was raised partly in Rockwood, Tennessee, in a Pentecostal family. Her stepfather was Tony Tonachio. She moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, when she was ten, and later to Los Angeles, California, for her acting career. Megan has three children with her former husband, actor, producer, and rapper Brian Austin Green.

Megan is of mostly English descent. She also has small amounts of Scottish, German, and Scots-Irish/Northern Irish ancestry, along with distant French and Welsh roots, as well as possibly 1/512th Powhatan Native American ancestry.

Megan’s Instagram profile is titled “the_native_tiger,” and she previously referred to herself as “Child of the Cherokee Tribe” on that site. She has also stated, several times, that she is of part Cherokee Native American ancestry.

Megan’s great-great-great-great-great-great-grandmother, Mary Powhatan, was said to be of half Native American, of the Powhatan tribe, descent. This ancestry comes through Megan’s paternal grandmother. If this claim is accurate, it would make Megan of 1/256 Native American ancestry. No other Native American ancestry, Cherokee or otherwise, has been documented on any of Megan’s publicly available family trees. All of Megan’s grandparents, great-grandparents, and great-great-grandparents are listed as “White” on United States Censuses.

Megan’s paternal grandfather is Ewell T. Foxx (the son of Arthur Thomas Fox and Mary Elizabeth Pass). Ewell was born in Tennessee. Arthur was the son of John Bunyon Fox and Ellen Dora Ussery. Mary was the daughter of John Henderson Pass and Minnie May Erwin.

Megan’s paternal grandmother was Vivian Vier (the daughter of Shellie Vernon Vier and Maud F. Simerly). Shellie was the son of William Ruban Vier and Nancy T. Adamson/Adams. Maud was the daughter of John Franklin Simerly and Rebecca Ann Teffeteller. Megan has German ancestry through Vivian’s ancestor, Joseph Teffeteller (making Megan of at least 1/64th German descent). Megan also has very distant German ancestry from another of Vivian’s lines (through Vivian’s Rainbolt and Grindstaff/Crantzdorf ancestors).

Megan’s maternal grandfather was Clay Harrison Cisson (the son of William Harrison Cisson and Sallie Ann Martin). Clay was born in Tennessee. William was the son of William Cisson and Sarah Jane Davis. Sallie was the daughter of Columbus Allen Martin and Alice Franklin Davis.

Megan’s maternal grandmother was Thelma Macel Nelson (the daughter of James Ransom Nelson and Dailey I. Nelson). Thelma was born in Tennessee. James was the son of Mark Nelson and Martha Ann Crouch. Dailey was the daughter of Lorenzo Dow Nelson and Rosie/Rose Ann Givens. James Ransom Nelson and Dailey Nelson were first cousins, once removed.

    She looks 100% white

    • TheHelper says:

@bleachsoda She is. Most White people who claim Native American ancestry do it because they hate their own race. And most of them don’t have any.

      • Obey says:

Megan is very white. She looks like a Czech woman who burned herself all week in the sun without being able to tan enough. There are even Polish with these same kind of face features (very thin nose and blue eyes, impossible to belong to a Native). Some artists say they are descendants of Indians just to seem more exotic in showbuzzness.

        • luckystar says:

Megan is not always tanned. She is natural and very pale in the movie Jennifer’s Body. Very British/Irish face.

        • abritanyxo says:

Hahaha you are an idiot. Blue eyes can be found in Africa, it’s a recessive gene, not exclusive to the “white” race. Also you will find Africans with thin noses and oval faces, and many Europeans with wide skulls and wide noses. These features are not exclusive to one race.

          • fuzzybear44 says:

            @ abritanyxo

You’re right,It was proven in 2017, that African have their own version of the light eye gene. The reason I believe you don’t see more, is locations, also Africa is a very dangerous place to just be walking around. Plus Africans are very superstitious, in many African groups, if a child is born(what they consider not normal), They kill. I watched this Documentary on the Kara tribe, this one woman killed 13 of her 20 something children. She killed one for being left handed. Another because the bottom teeth came out first. They were all considered (Mingi) or cursed. There’s another group that kills twins. So you could imagine what would happen to a blue eye baby in wrong group

          • andrew says:

However you guys are really serious about this topic? Because blue eyes are not that common in parts of Europe and very rare in West Asia, let alone in Sub-Sarahan Africa.

          • andrew says:

            @fuzzybear

That is nothing. It looks like cannibalism still exists, possibly in parts of Melanesia. Is that the reason why Pacific Islanders are so big? Reasonable question.

          • ana99 says:

            You are beyond ridiculous

          • ana99 says:

You’re the idiot. Now you’re making out that Europeans look like us Africans?? You’re lost and dumbest person on this thread

        • abritanyxo says:

No she doesnt lol. She looks mixed and has a very exotic look. Definitely NOT pure white. Ellen DeGeneres and Jennifer Aniston look pure white. Megan Fox looks like Sacheen Littlefeather and Olivia Munn. Also thin noses and blue eyes are NOT exclusive to whites. Just fyi.

          • Lee says:

            Exotic look, where?

          • Lee says:

Celebrities ladder their face with make-up it’s no telling what their natural skin color is behind the foundation, sorry but I can’t tell she’s Native American descent after looking at that pic lol.

          • Lee says:

“definitely NOT pure white” NO ONE IS 100% anything, everyone’s mixed to some degree, Modern day Europeans are roughly 1/3rd Neolithic Farmer, 1/3rd EU Hunter Gatherer, and 1/3 Indo-European, we’re a mixture of three ancient compontents and the R1b hablogroup originated in the Great Steppe/ Euroasian Steppe, every person of Euro descent are part of this hablogroup, https://youtu.be/FeMt-R_2wPA

The original European Hablogroups are I and C.

          • G177S says:

She is not mixed.. she is a white women with brunette hair which is common for most white people.

Most Europeans do not have blonde hair and blue eyes you —— lol. Grow up and learn to stop being so ignorant.

          • G177S says:

@abritanyaxo She is not mixed.. she is a white woman with brunette hair which is common for most white people to have.

And most of us do not have blonde hair with blue eyes, we have brown hair and blue eyes or brown hair and brown eyes, lol.

You need to grow up and quit stereotyping.

          • ana99 says:

She doesn’t look mixed at all, she looks like a typical white person. Look at pictures of her before she become very famous and her surgeries and makeover, she had pale freckly skin and lighter hair and definitely does not look like Sacheen Littlefeather or Olivia Munn. Are you Megan herself of something?? Even if she had dark hair that doesn’t make her mixed or exotic, many British white people have dark hair and are white.

        • Katerina says:

Megan does look very white. Pale skin with blue eyes and dark hair is also a very Irish look. However, it’s not impossible for an Indigenous person to have blue eyes or a narrow nose. I myself have seen Indigenous people with copper skin, dark blue eyes and narrow noses in my country.

      • luckystar says:

Shes ——, why u take her words so serious?

      • Ava900 says:

@TheHelper If she has Native American blood then she is Native American racially. Skin color and physical appearances don’t define what you are

        • ana99 says:

I hardly think a ‘possible’ relative going back centuries makes her Native American. She is not racially Native American. She claims this like many white people do. Thing is they won’t get away with it so easily now as they used to in the past. That goes for her, Johnny Depp, Elvis, Fergie, Carmen Electra, Angelina Jolie and all the others.

    • abritanyxo says:

Lol she does NOT look 100% white. She looks Eurasian or Native/White mix. Looks a lot like Olivia Munn and Sacheen Littlefeather. I’ve see many Eastern Europeans with this look, and it’s because many are in fact Eurasian. Someone that looks 100% white would be Brittney Spears, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Hanks, Matt Damon, etc.

      • andrew says:

        > Someone that looks 100% white would be Brittney Spears, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Hanks, Matt Damon,

        Add S.W.

      • Lee says:

Btw, white’s not a skin color, race nor ethnicity. No such thing as a “black” or “white” race. The US census standards has no scientific evidence of what anybody is. I’ve looked at my skin color more times I can count and it sure as hell isn’t “white”

      • Lee says:

Europeans have lots of different ancestors. First we have Neanderthal DNA in us, with freckles and sometimes red hair. Then we have the indigenous European DNA in Northern Europe, with mutations for blonde hair, and Stone Age men from further South with dark skin and blue eyes. Lighter skin grew as an evolutionary advantage in a climate with less SUN after many generations. But we also had Ural migrations to the North. And Syrian farmers moved over many generations from the South, and later the Indo Europeans came from the East, everywhere except in Greece. And after Roman times Germanic Slavic and Turk migrations influenced the Southeast.
Most migrations came from the East and from Central Asia.

        • Lee says:

So basically all “Europeans” are in fact Euroasian

          • ana99 says:

You’re classed as white, going back centuries doesn’t negate that as it stands in the present day. Why you want to be non white so bad? Black peoples skin isn’t always ‘Black’, so using the my skin doesn’t look ‘white’ is meaningless. Who says Neanderthals had red hair and freckles? Who says all northern Europeans are all blond? Why are you so ashamed to be classed as white? Its white Europeans that made these classifications and made race the issue that it is today. Go speak to your ancestors!

      • delicatedreams says:

They probably just have the same plastic surgeon, lol.

      • ana99 says:

Jennifer Aniston’s father is Greek, she’s white but her skin tone is still not as white as Megan’s real skin color. Even the rest you mentioned have darker skin tone’s than Megan’s. Why can’t she be white, why is everyone wishing so bad that she’s mixed? Surgery, hair dye, fake tan. Get over it, she white!!

  2. bearboy says:

    she is 1/8th Lithuanian Jewish

    • passingtime85 says:

      Reference/proof?

    • follers says:

I see her more as a delicate mixture of Swedish and Greek.

      • bearboy says:

Guys I don’t think you understand… my best friends mother, Mrs. Dubs has the ability to tell how Lithuanian Jewish or Latvian Jewish someone is from looking at them… If you think I”m lying she could tell I was 0% and I took a DNA test and it was confirmed. we HAVE to add Megan Fox’s 1/8th Lithuanian Jewish heritage!

        • passingtime85 says:

Which DNA test did you take? I only truly trust one company.

        • madman says:

So she has the same ability as neiltennant with Asian ancestry (he already accurately predicted Summer Glau’s 1/8th Chinese ancestry, although follers is trying to cover it up). Then it should definitely be added, I trust people with this gift fully. Maybe you can show her a picture of Abigail Breslin too so that this issue can be settled once and for all.

It is probably her great-grandfather Shellie V. Vier who was Jewish.

          • passingtime85 says:

            @fuzzybear44

            23andMe.

          • bearboy says:

Madman, Abigail breslin is Belarusian Jewish. I said my friends mother only detects Latvian Jewish and Lithuanian Jewish ancestry.

          • fuzzybear44 says:

I’m trying ancestry first, because they give you more information on the African stuff .Although they want to scam you out of as much money as possible. Then I try 23, to see if they differ

          • passingtime85 says:

Ancestry’s African results are interesting because they’ll tell you which parts of Africa your ancestors were from, with more variety than the others. The only problem is Ancestry’s results are all wildly inaccurate, sometimes past 25% wrong on any given ethnic marker, and that includes all the results not just the African ones. They way over blow percentages from the British Isles and Scandinavia, and East Europe, their Asian results are questionable.

23andme test, the heritage test not including the medical results, is $99. It’s the same price and a lot more accurate.

          • fuzzybear44 says:

            @passingtime85

Maybe you’re right, all those backgrounds(British Isles and Scandinavia, and East Europe) were in my sister results. We weren’t ecpecting those at all. Also it didn’t go into exactly which African groups we are, just the country. Egypt, Nubia, and Ethiopia are the only countries we didn’t get.

          • fuzzybear44 says:

            Fuzzy.

Yep AncestryDNA….is okay for a general overview, but it’s not the most accurate site. Will you also invest in 23andme or are you satisfied enough with Ancestry?

    • TheHelper says:

      Jewish isn’t a race, it’s a religion.

  3. luckystar says:

It maybe sound nonsense but i think this site should put the link of her before and after plastic surgery because she look really different ethnicity now

  4. A user says:

If her skin was pale she would look VERY English

    • TheHelper says:

It is. She tans to make herself darker. Most White people do.

    • ana99 says:

Her skin is very pale. Not all english people are that pale, I’d consider her skin more Irish looking white, underneath the fake tan. Her real hair color isn’t even as dark but even if it was it wouldn’t make any difference, shes white, she looks white, shes white!
