Maureen O’Sullivan was an Irish actress.
Maureen was the daughter of Evangeline Lovatt “Mary Eva” (Frazer) and Charles Joseph O’Sullivan. Her father was Irish, from Cork, County Cork. Her mother was born in Tientsin, China, to a father born in County Sligo, Ireland, with Scottish ancestry, and to a mother born in St. Marylebone, England.
Maureen was married to James Cushing, until her death. She was previously married to Australian director John Farrow (John Villiers Farrow), until his death. The couple had seven children, including actress and activist Mia Farrow, sculptor Patrick Villiers Farrow, and actresses Stephanie Farrow and Tisa Farrow. She was the grandmother of activist, journalist, and lawyer Ronan Farrow.
Maureen’s paternal grandfather was Daniel Vincent O’Sullivan (the son of Cornelius John O’Sullivan and Ellen O’Brien). Daniel was born in Cork, County Cork.
