Matthew’s paternal grandfather is named Kenneth Dionysio Santos. Kenneth was born in Manila, the Philippines, and was listed as “white” on the 1940 U.S. Census.

Matthew’s paternal grandmother is Bessie Paschal “Bess” Epperly (the daughter of Samuel Jefferson Epperly and Basilisa/Bascilisa Garcia). Bessie was born in Manila, the Philippines. Samuel was born in Missouri, the son of Samuel Newton Epperly and Sarah Izerine Taylor. He was listed as “white” on the 1920 U.S. Census. Basilisa was born in the Philippines, and was listed as “Filipino” on the 1920 U.S. Census.

Matthew’s maternal grandfather is Vernon Dominic/Dominick Svec (the son of Dominic/Dominik Svec and Emma Johnson). Vernon was born in Wisconsin. Matthew’s great-grandfather Dominic was born in Lanškroun, Bohemia, Czechoslovakia, the son of Josef Svec and Annie Janovec/Yanovec.     Most filipinos are not mixed. The spaniards in the country in the colonial period are not as numerous as the chinese. Both of them have no major impact on the majority.

      His dad is a mixture of Spanish and Filipino. Most likely his dad is from the Phillipines, but has a lot of Spanish blood, but he could be like Enrique Iglesias and be half Spanish, half Filipino.

            and if one says of spanish-filipino it means it LITERALLY coz we are of spanish blood
