Her roles include the series The Jeffersons, Checking In, 227, Station 19, Grey’s Anatomy, and Days of Our Lives, and the films The Meteor Man, Lost & Found (1999), The Visit (2000), The Brothers, Madea’s Witness Protection, Grantham & Rose, and Lemon (2017).
She is the daughter of Ophelia Birdie (Kemp), a businessperson, who ran numbers in the gambling trade, and Douglas Bradley, a mechanic, who ran an ice company. Her father was from Waterproof, Louisiana. She has three children with her former husband Jordan Gibbs. Her sister was actress, jazz vocalist, and acting teacher Susie Garrett.
