Maggie Q is an American actress and model. She has starred in the films Live Free or Die Hard and Death of Me, and the series Nikita and Designated Survivor. She is also known as Maggie D. Quigley.
Maggie was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, U.S. Her father is American-born, and is of Polish, as well as Irish and French, descent. Her mother is Vietnamese. Her parents met when her father was stationed in Vietnam.
She became popular starring in Hong Kong movies, and took Mandarin and Cantonese lessons to aid her career.
Maggie’s paternal grandmother was Mary Theresa Gazdzik (the daughter of Aloysius Gazdzik and Helen Nowicka). Mary Theresa was born in New York, and all of her grandparents were Polish. Aloysius was the son of Stanislaus Gazdzik and Katharine Trojak. Helen was the daughter of Albert Nowicki and Annie.

I agree with Roger Scientist. She’s highly overrated. I’ve seen prettier Eurasians in real life who aren’t even famous. It’s funny how Asians love to hype up Eurasians, and have them represent their race instead of full Asians. Just look at Miss Philippines. She’s half white, and you know how much Filipinos love mixed Filipinos. Even in their telenovelas. All the Filipino actors are mixed with white. Smh! It’s not just Asian people who do this. Black people love hyping up mulatto people and having them represent the black race and black beauty. Just look at Halle Berry, Paula Patton, etc…. They’re called “black actresses” when clearly they look mixed.
