Luke Pasqualino is a British actor. He has appeared on television’s Skins, The Borgias, Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome, The Musketeers, Our Girl, Snatch (2017), Shadow and Bone, and Shantaram, and in the films Love Bite, The Apparition, Snowpiercer, Smartass, and The Gandhi Murder.

Sicilians can definitely look this way, especially those from the southern part of the island. Neopolitans can look this way too. I’ve’ lived in Italy and actually, most o the people I’ve met who look like this are from Sardinia…

Andrew, why do you keep trying to disown Luke Pasqualino? He’s very good looking, unlike Mantzoukas. If he (Pasqualino) was Jewish I would be very happy to claim him (you can trade him for, say, Justin Bartha, if you want).
I didn’t think he looked atypical for a Southern European until I read these comments. Javier Bardem looks more “exotic” to me (and many others like John Turturro).

are you talking to me? he’s extremely atypical, because he does have a South Asian vibe that place him out of Mediterranean spectrum. Anyhow showbiz is not made by average looking people. so that’s a not a big deal.

casting directors often do not have a clue. Some examples: Fares Fares (Assyrian) was casted as a RUSSIAN in “Child 44”; in “300” they portrayed the king of Persians like this:

All europeans have african admixture you dope. Admixture has nothing to do with race, and if you knew anything about genetics you’d know ancient admixture does not effect phenotype. African admixture in all of Europe is at low levels and having it doesn’t make anyone black anymore than it makes Scandinavians or Russians asians for having Asian admixture.
Anyway Luke is probably just an exotic type because he’s extremely atypical evern for Sicily. Sometimes exotic types like him can occur in ethnic groups. Just like how Rowan Atkinson doesn’t look British at all.
He just looks like a Sicilian with dark features. This is nothing strange…

His skin coloring is not why he looks exotic, it’s his features. The guy you posted might be dark but he still looks phenotypically Sicilian while Pasqualino is so atypical and exotic that he looks part Indian which is rare for Sicilians.
Not Italian. Even Sicilians aren’t that dark.
But heck, if Johnny Depp, Russel Brand and Cheryl Cole are English, he can definitely be a full Italian…
