Arcadiana, there are 4 types of races: Caucasoid, Mongoloid, Africanoid, and Australian Aboriginal. Messi and anybody with the same features would be categorized as a Mongoloid. No matter what they believe to be. Those people you’he mentioned account for the same. I hope I educated those who seem confused.

  2. Roger says:

You don’t have to do a “blood test” on somebody who clearly has a Mongoloid skull. Please educate yourself. Thanks.

Many Mediterranean have the brown eyes. Many oriental Europeans have big cheekbones, the Finns also. He is a distant cousin of Bojan krkic (Spanish and Croatian heritage). Besides, you think that for having a mestizo great-grandmother, he is mestizo ?… And other seven European great-grandfathers? The Italians did not mix with the amerindian in Argentine.
For you Wentworth Miller is white ? …think it.
The american people know little on races…they invented the Latinos. The Latin race does not exist.
    Anyway, i respect your opinion.

    • Roger says:

It seems to me you resent the categorization of “race”. You think race should be categorized by- “look” and “skin color”. That’s not the case. There are a lot of Hispanics/Latinos with light-skin and pale skin but I can still tell they’re not white. Which brings to your case.

You seem to not like the category for people from Latin America. The thing is Latin Americans, about 85%-90%, are mixed. Mainly with Indigenous extraction. They counted as a Ethnic group of people, but not a race.

Messi is a Mestizo by genetics and heritage. Looking at pictures of his family members I can tell that’s the case.

      • Daniel says:

hahaha…man..!!! You do not understand !!
You classifies the race by “look” and “skin color”. You say “Looking at pictures of his family members I can tell”.
I do not classify people by their skin color. There are many Spanish, Italian they are olive-skinned. They are Caucasian, not mestizos.
You can not compare Argentina with other Latin American countries. You can not say “The thing is Latin Americans, about 85%-90%, are mixed. Mainly with Indigenous”. In Argentina there are more descendants of Italians in the U.S.
U.S. only surpassed Argentina in European immigration.
Where are you from ? Why not know much about European immigration.
“They counted as a Ethnic group of people, but not a race”. I do not think… for them Latinos and mestizos are the same. They say whites, “Latinos”, blacks, Asians.
The descendants of Spanish and indigenous, non-Latinos, are mestizos.
In any case, I’m Latino, because my great-grandparents were French, Italian and Spanish. They are the true Latinos.
You say “Messi is a Mestizo by genetics and heritage”…How do you know friend?…did a blood test? Do not use words needlessly.
I know American history, and the rest of america, especially the history of my country…Argentina.

        Regards

LMAO, are you stubbornly still trying to pitch that Messi “White”? It’s sad how some Latin Americans have been brainwashed with the whole “caste” system they wouldn’t dare they’re anything but “White”. Do you believe Messi is “White” solely because he has pale skin?! Haha I need a break?! What about if Messi was tan or darker, would he still be “White”? Look at his almond-shaped eye with creases on his eyelids. Also look at his cheekbones. There are no Europeans with with high and wide cheekbones. Those are all traits of a person of Asianoid (indigenous) descent. He is not White (race). Maybe he is in skin-complexion, but not race.

          • Acadiana says:

You are actually wrong about the cheekbones as well. There are many Europeans with high cheekbones and almond-shaped eyes. Those are common traits in the East.

        • Roger says:

Listen, I’m not saying there can’t be people of only European descent in Latin America but it seems they’d have a misconception of race of the majority of people share your same view. You thought Messi was because solely because of his last name and skin-complextion and I reiterated to you that wasn’t the case. Italians and Spaniards don’t have those features I explained to you and J highly doubt Messi is of ethnic-Finnish descent like you’re saying. Messi may be of European extraction like most Latin Americans, but is not 100% White. Therefore, NOT “White”.

          • Daniel says:

Listen…forever we will discuss. I have an anthropological vision, and your a racist vision and exclusive. Start doing blood tests and endpoint. LMAO ??? Me garco en vos, sos un pelotudo importante !!

          • Acadiana says:

“White” is a social construct anyway. If you have not noticed, many “whites” have at least one non-white ancestor or a mixed ethnic background, yet still go through life as “white.” It is not a big deal. For example, I visited several countries in Eastern Europe, and I noticed that their bone structure and head shape is very distinctive and different from most other Europeans. They still see themselves as “white,” though.

    • tinchi95 says:

Bojan Krkic is half SERBIAN half spanish…..he is not half croatian !!!

  4. Daniel says:

You so retard…he is white. 100 % Italian

  5. Roger says:

I’m pretty sure this guy is a Mestizo. I saw a picture of his grandman and she does not look European. She looks like a chola (a mestizo of mainly Indigeonous descent). He’s a mestizo.
