Krystal Ball is an American political commentator, media host, and politician. She co-hosts podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends, the latter with her husband, political activist and progressive talk radio host Kyle Kulinski.

Krystal is the daughter of Rose Marie, a teacher, and Edward Ball, a physicist. She has at least one child with her former husband, educational software entrepreneur Jonathan Dariyanani.

Krystal’s paternal grandfather was Clarence Edwin Ball (the son of George Monroe Ball and Isa Dora Reed). Clarence was born in West Virginia. George was born in West Virginia, the son of Isaac Munson/N. Ball, Jr. and Sophia/Sophie Alice Annon. Isa was born in West Virginia, the daughter of James Harrison Reed and Nancy Jane Lillard.

Krystal’s paternal grandmother was Olive Mildred Stemple (the daughter of Aldine D. Stemple/Mildred and Stella Marsh). Olive was born in West Virginia. Aldine was born in West Virginia, the son of George Washington Stemple and Sarah Hannah Stalnaker. Stella was the daughter of Loyal Grover Marsh and Mary Jane Murphy.
