Kirstie Alley was an American actress and comedian. She is known for her roles in the films Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Summer School, Shoot to Kill, Look Who’s Talking, Madhouse, Sibling Rivalry, David’s Mother, John Carpenter’s Village of the Damned, It Takes Two, Deconstructing Harry, For Richer or Poorer, and Drop Dead Gorgeous, and on the shows Cheers, Veronica’s Closet, and as Nurse Hoffel on Scream Queens.

She was the daughter of Lillian Maxine (Heaton) and Robert Dale Alley, who owned a lumber company. She had two children, who were adopted, with her former husband, actor Parker Stevenson. Her first husband coincidentally had the same name as her father, Bob Alley.

Kirstie’s paternal grandfather was Clifford William Alley (the son of William Dayton Alley and Lettie Jane Lowry). Clifford was born in Missouri. Kirstie’s great-grandfather William was the son of William Bonaparte Alley and Sarah/Sara Jane Coen. Lettie was the daughter of Andrew Rippy/Warren Lowry and Luzana Smith.

Kirstie’s paternal grandmother was Anna Belle/Annabelle Underwood (the daughter of James Lorenzo Dow Underwood and Sarah Jane Miller). Anna Belle was born in Nebraska. James was the son of Preston Underwood and Cassander/Cassandra Elizabeth Doherty Callen. Sarah was the daughter of William Harvey Miller and Drusillah Smith.

Kirstie’s maternal grandfather was John LeRoy “Roy” Heaton (the son of John Nelson Heaton and Nora Franklin Miller). Roy was born in Nebraska. Kirstie’s great-grandfather John was the son of Charles Nelson Heaton and Martha Ellen Middleton Carpenter. Nora was the daughter of George S. Miller and Issabella/Isabella/Isabelle/Isabel Jane Smith.

Kirstie’s maternal grandmother was Ellen/Ella Maude Sweny/Sweney (the daughter of Delos Martin Sweney/Swenny/Sweny/Sweeney and Caroline Pauline/E. “Carrie” Hanson/Hansen/Bolliver/Bolivar). Maude was born in Nebraska. Delos was the son of James Miller Sweney/Sweeney and Jane Elizabeth Stephenson/Stevenson. Caroline was born in Illinois, to German parents, James “Jacob” Bolivar and Pauline Burth.
