Kiawentiio is a Canadian-American actress and singer. She is known for her roles on the series Avatar: The Last Airbender, Anne with an E, and Rutherford Falls, and in the film Beans.
Kiawentiio was born on Akwesasne, a Mohawk Nation territory located on both sides of the border between Ontario and Québec, Canada, and New York, U.S. Because of this, she, like other Mohawk born on Akwesasne, is a dual citizen of Canada and the U.S. She is the daughter of Barbara and Corey Tarbell.
