Graham Greene is a Canadian actor.
He is the son of Lillian and John Welton Greene. He was born in Ohsweken, in the Six Nations of the Grand River First Nations reserve. Graham is married to Hilary Blackmore.
Graham’s paternal grandfather was named John Greene (the son of Isaac Greene, and of a woman surnamed Thompson). John was First Nations. Isaac was the son of John Greene and Hannah.
Graham’s paternal grandmother was Emma Barnes (the daughter of Paul Barnes and Charlotte Johnson). Paul was Mohawk. Charlotte was Tuscarora, and was the daughter of Zachariah Johnson and Margaret.

His father was John Welton Greene who died in Ohsweken in 1985; Graham is mentioned in his obituary.

Emma’s parents were listed as Paul Barnes and Charlotte Johnson on her marriage record. She married John Greene under the last name Bombury as she was a widow. John’s parents are given as Isaac Greene and [Blank] Thompson. It’s pretty odd that he didn’t know his mother’s first name. Maybe the officiant forgot to write it down.

Both Emma and John were listed as speaking “Indian” on the 1911 census.

John appears with his family in the 1881 and 1891 censuses. Isaac’s wife is Deborah House (surname appears on the marriage record of their son Edmund). I don’t know if she’s the same as the Thompson on John’s marriage record, or if she’s a stepmother. Isaac’s parents are John and Hannah Greene on his death record, and Hannah is living with his family in 1891.
As for Paul Barnes and Charlotte Johnson, Paul is listed as Mohawk in 1901 and Charlotte as Tuscarora. Charlotte’s parents were Zachariah and Margaret Johnson, both Tuscarora.
I suspect he has some minor non-Native American ancestry
Likely. Maybe even a significant amount. I couldn’t find anything valuable about his background.
