Kario Salem is an American television, film, stage actor and screenwriter.

Kario’s paternal grandfather was Isaac Salem/Salam (the son of Emanuel Salem/Salam and Rachel Nahome/Nahama). Isaac was born in Thessaloniki, Turkey (now Greece).

Kario’s paternal grandmother was Rachel Sarfaty/Sarfalty/Sarfatti (the daughter of Morris Sarfaty and Rebecca Grotas). Rachel was born in Turkey.
