Jonathan Davis is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is the leading vocalist and frontman of nu metal band Korn. Reginald Arvizu is also a member of the band. He was also a member of rock band Sexart, with Ryan Shuck. He is nicknamed JD, JDevil, and J Devil.

Jonathan is the son of Holly and Rick Davis. He is a half-brother of Mark Chavez, the lead singer of Adema. Jonathan was married to former porn star Deven Davis, until her death. He has a son with his former wife Renee Perez; and two children with Deven.

Jonathan’s paternal grandfather was Luther Davis, Jr. (the son of Luther C. Davis and Dovie Mae Anderson). Jonathan’s grandfather Luther was born in Arkansas. Joanthan’s great-grandfather Luther was the son of Ohera Davis. Dovie was the daughter of Thomas R. Anderson and Rutha Jane King.

Jonathan’s paternal grandmother is the daughter of Morgan C. Clark and Idessie G. Goddfrey. Morgan was the son of James Clark and Rachel R. Knowles. Idessie was the daughter of John Walker Godfrey and Mary Emaline Graham.

Jonathan’s maternal grandfather was Lyle Edward/Edwards Smith (the son of Lyle Dillon Smith and Mary Jane McConnaughey). Jonathan’s grandfather Lyle was born in Nebraska. Jonathan’s great-grandfather Lyle was the son of Jacob Hannibal Smith and Stella Meriam Dillon. Mary Jane was the daughter of John Jay McConnaughey and Frances Elizabeth Myers.

Jonathan’s maternal grandmother was Juanita Hope Howsmon (the daughter of William Grant Howsmon and Bessie Juanita Whitt). Juanita was born in California. William was the son of Bradford Wood Howsmon and Betsey Louisa Douglas. Bessie was the daughter of Peter/Powhattah Wickliffe Whitt and Nancy Angeline Demasters.
