John Boehner is an American politician. A Republican, he served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Ohio, from January 3, 1991 to October 31, 2015, House Majority Leader, from February 2, 2006 to January 3, 2007, House Minority Leader, from January 3, 2007 to January 3, 2011, and the 53rd Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, from January 5, 2011 to October 29, 2015.
John is the son of Mary Ann/Anne (Hall) and Earl Henry Boehner. He is married to Debbie Gunlack, with whom he has two children.
John’s paternal grandfather was Andrew Boehner (the son of Henry Boehner and Dorothea/Dora Doepffer). Andrew was born in Ohio, to German parents. Dorothea was the daughter of Clemans Doepffer.
John’s paternal grandmother was Emma Leimgruber (the daughter of Martin Leimgruber and Mary). Emma was born in Ohio, to German parents.

Phenotypically John looks 100% european but looking at his mother’s features. She definitely has some african ancestry. I’d assume she’s a quarter or less.

He was the worst speaker in history. I’m an independent. They accomplished nothing since he became speaker. Just tried to repeal laws and fight the President instead of running the government

He’s half black. Take a look at his mother. She looks blacker than Beyoncé.
I always thought he was just a tan white man. But after seeing pics of his mother… she is definitely African American. If there’s no record of her black ancestry then she likely comes from a family who successfully passed as fully white like John is. I’m not saying he’s not still a white man but he’s partly black.
