Joel Oulette is a Canadian actor. He stars on the show Trickster. He is a member of the Cumberland House Cree and Red River Métis nations of Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Joel’s maternal grandfather was Raymond Arnold Joseph Oulette (the son of David William Oulette and Esther Marguerite Julie Cadotte). Raymond was born in Flin Flon, Manitoba, to Métis parents. Esther was the daughter of Edouard Cadotte and Isabelle Linklater.

Joel’s maternal grandmother was Florence Gail Arnott (the daughter of William Young Arnott and Florence Watson). Joel’s grandmother Florence was born in Roblin, Manitoba. William was born in Kinross-shire, Scotland, the son of John Arnott and Janet Whyte Young. Joel’s great-grandmother Florence was born in Manitoba, to an English father, Leonard Watson, and a Scottish mother, Annie Nevay.
