Jeremy Saulnier is an American film director, cinematographer, and screenwriter.

Jeremy is the son of writer Karen Saulnier (born Karen Lois Luczak) and actor Ed Saulnier (born Francis Edward Saulnier).

Jeremy’s paternal grandfather was Francis Mederic Saulnier (the son of François/Francis Edward Saulnier/Saulonier and Mary/May Ellen Callahan/Callahans). Jeremy’s great-grandfather François was born in Nova Scotia, Canada, the son of Augustin Saulnier and Galelia Comeau. Mary was born in Massachusetts, to parents from Ireland.

Jeremy’s paternal grandmother was Agnes Mary Vernon (the daughter of Alfred Vernon and Kate Kane). Agnes was born in New York, to a father from England and a mother from Ireland.
