Jeremy Bloom is an American athlete and philanthropist. As a skier, he is a two-time Olympian, one-time world champion, and ten-time World Cup gold medalist. He was also drafted into the National Football League (NFL), having been part of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is said to be the only person to have been an Olympic skier and an NFL draftee.

Jeremy is the son of Charlene, a ski and fly fishing instructor, and Larry Bloom, a clinical psychologist. He was raised in Loveland, CO. His sister, Molly Bloom, is a poker entrepreneur, and author, whose story is depicted in the film Molly’s Game (2017), where she is played by Jessica Chastain (their father is played by Kevin Costner). In the film, when asked her ethnicity, the character Molly describes herself as “a Russian Jew.”

Jeremy’s paternal cousin, Colby Cohen, is a professional ice hockey player.
