Putting “Spanish Puerto Rican” is dumb. All Hispanics have a correlation to Spain and almost everyone who is Hispanic has a Spanish last name. There is a common misconception that the majority of Puerto Ricans are just white (Spaniard). Actually, most of them are mixed (Spanish, African, indigenous and various other ethnic groups). Most Puerto Ricans on the island like to consider themselves white because they think it is better even though they’ll have tan skin and such, that’s why they put on the census they are white but DNA studies show otherwise. To people who say its like the U.S. let me drop you in fajardo and let me know if you still think it’s people are white.

PEOPLE!!! Come on already….I understand everyone point of view and all. When you really come to think about it we are ALL A MIX’S. I’m not saying that everyone have black in them or everyone have white in them too. What I’m saying that we are all a mix’s. Nowadays people are fighting about race, color and religion. I honestly think that if we all take a look of ourselves how we all the same. Because every each and one of us are HUMAN BEING. What we should focus is how we treat others with respect and love. I think that if everyone was to see it like that then maybe this world would be a better place. Beauty is with in not the color.

I Agree mostly what the Australian Women Stated from before she is clearly stating the facts. And I don’t believe her comment was meant to be offensive in anyway. Many of you who are offended by this is because the truth hurts.don’t understand why people are ashamed to accept that many people of different ethnicity have traces of black in them, I am Afro-Caribbean And won’t allow anyone to force their insecurities on to me Proud to be whoever I am.I couldn’t careless regardless where Jlo comes from I love her for who she is.She is a beautiful women. And many of you need to do your research probably and stop spreading your hate it is racist, sickening and appalling learn to love and accept yourself and move on pronto
