Her parents, Guadalupe Rodríguez and David López, are Puerto Rican. Her sister, Lydia Lopez, is a journalist. Jennifer is married to actor and filmmaker Ben Affleck. She has two children with her former husband, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor Marc Anthony, who is also Puerto Rican. Her sister is DJ Lynda Lopez.

Jennifer’s maternal grandmother was Julia Rivera y Rosado (the daughter of Vicente Rivera y Rivera and María Rosado y Rodríguez). Julia was born in Jayuya, Jayuya, Puerto Rico. Vicente was from Ponce, the son of Valentín Rivera y Rivera and Narcisa Rivera y Rivera. Valentín and Narcisa were born with the same paternal and maternal family names. Jennifer’s great-grandmother María was the daughter of Antonio Rosado and Rodulfa Rodríguez.

What are you talking about… the country you live in does not define what your heritage is. I was born and raised in Australia and my nationality is Australian but i am European! Jlo is Latin American. BTW Latin is not a heritage…
Jennifer lopez is puerto rican and has a big butt its a shock to see a puerto rican with a big butt usually black women have big butts not puerto rican women puerto ricans are considered white caucasian or white hispanic.
IF she had african ancestry from the slaves 500 years ago, it would be very very minimal. Her face is complete Mestizo with the flat nose and face, dont get me wrong she is very good looking those are just her features. She is a Mestiza through and through. A mix of Spanish and Indio ancestry.

99% of the time that kinda large bottom is african dna coming through..Go to Argentina and see how many women have this kinda of shape bottom..then go to Brazil or PR and see that there is a big difference…Why..its down to the fact that Argentina is more pure european blood whereas Brazil and PR had a big population of black slaves who eventually mixed with europeans and natives. This eventually give rise to a mixed race population with obvious african features.
