what the hell! Hispanic is really a white word, hispanic is relationed with Spain not with Aztecs, that is like saying that Native Americans are the real Anglos and English are not. I am hispanic, and the word is only relationed with spanish-speaking people and culture inherited from Spain not with indigenous. Spanish( from Spain) are hispanics too. Mayans, Aztecs, Incas or any indigenous group have neer been hispanics.

    Pure Iberian or full Euro

Anyone who says she looks part Amerindian or SSA, must be dumb as fuck..
Particularly those who use curly hair as basis..So many people living in Ireland (red-hair), Italy, Greece, Spain, Levant, south-west/west India got Curly hair..
Many stupids in internet keep on linking curly hair with partial-Afircan admixure..
    LOL

I don’t know if Gloria is of African descent, just because she has curly hair. There are other people that have tightly curled or even kinky hair, that have no recent african ancestors. Although, in the case of pacific islanders or some asians. It may relate to the route they took out of africa thousands of years ago. They went east, instead of north, and settled in a hot climate which favors frizzy, kinky, curly, nappy hair. But I don’t know the reason for Gloria’s. It could be moorish, gypsy. Perhaps, it’s just because everyone has a possibility of creating offspring with different traits, even recessive. But David Bisbal, actually has a tighter curl than her. And Carlos Vives, has an even tighter curl than the both of them.

However, Gloria Estefan has always spoken of 3 raices that make her. Some other white latinos have also. Maybe, it’s because of the country they come from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Colombia. Maybe it’s because they play typical Afro latino music. I guess she’s just giving props to the islands heritage, or maybe she’s mixed on her father &/or mother’s side. Don’t know, or care. Just thought I’d give you guys some food for thought.

wow, some of you guys are dumb. Their are different types of curly hair. Theirs is kinky curly hair and silky curly hair. Silky curly hair doesnt come from africa example taylor swift kind of hair and wavy hair. “african hair ranges from ethopian curly hair to afro tight hair” which falls under the category of kinky curls

Ana thank you for telling the truth. Like I always say the truth will set you all free. Actually I am so glad we are hereing from someone from Spain. I always thought Southern Europeans are mixed with black. I guess as a black person I always see sometimes the mix in people. I am Haitian by the way Haiti is way more mixed then what the CIA says because poor metis are considered black. Anyways my point is I always look at mixed people who are mixed with black and white there often look like Southern Europeans, Arab and many also look east Indian. I have a mixed son he look so much like a Southern European and Arab people do not believe he is my son that is what genes can do. I have known many North Africans who will say that North Africans are actually mixed race and the Berber tribes were actually black and the moors were black and mixed race. My boyfriend works with this North African guy from Moracco he even said he has black in him.

Also I have friends who are of African ancestry they do not look black at all so it shows that you do not have to look black to have the mixed in the gene pool thank you for sharing.
