Mayra is the daughter of actor, producer, and writer Ramiro Gómez Kemp and Velia Martínez (born Velia Martínez Febles), an actress, singer, and nightclub dancer. Her father was Cuban. Her mother was born in Tampa, Florida, U.S., to Cuban parents. Mayra is married to Argentine actor Alberto Berco.
