Glenn Beck is an American television personality, radio host, political commentator, writer, filmmaker, producer, and businessperson. He has hosted the show the Glenn Beck Program, in one format or another, since 2006.
Glenn is a convert to the Mormon (LDS) faith. He is married to Tania. He has two children with his former wife Claire; and two with Tania.
Glenn’s paternal grandfather was William A. Beck, Sr. (the son of Jacob M. Beck and Christina Margaret Kost). William was born in South Dakota. Jacob was born in Triesenberg, Germany, the son of Michael Beck and Clara Engleman. Christina was born in Worms, Odessa, Russia, to an ethnic German family, the daughter of Jacob Kost and Margretta Lutz.
Glenn’s paternal grandmother was Sarah Edith Francis (the daughter of Noah Filbert Francis and Ruie Grace Brooks). Sarah was born in Montana. Noah was the son of John W. Francis and Julia Ann Bales. Ruie was the daughter of Levi Brooks and Sarah Paulis, who was of German descent.
Glenn’s maternal grandfather was Edward Lee Janssen (the son of Jaretino Corneal Janssen and Veitke/Wake Mary Poppen). Edward was born in Iowa. Jaretino was German. Veitke was born in Illinois, to German parents, Herman Poppen and Trentza D. Feikein.
Glenn’s maternal grandmother was Clara Eckholt (the daughter of Joseph Nicholas Eckholt and Clara Theresa Emanuel). Glenn’s grandmother Clara was born in Nebraska. Joseph was born in Iowa, to Barnhart Eckholt, who was German, and Sophia Roth, who was born in Wisconsin, of German descent. Glenn’s great-grandmother Clara was born in Nebraska, to a German father, Peter Emanuel, from Huttersdorf, Saar, and to a mother, Mary Ellen Eckroat, who was born in Ohio, of German descent.

I thought he said some of his German side were Polish or hinting they were Jews – he once said on his radio show he doesn’t wanna think about the construction of autobahn: the pavement buried the worker’s bodies…and bones of “my heritage”. Germany once ruled a large swath of Poland (the Prussian Empire, until 1918 in the end of WWI). And he claims to be antiracist esp. coming from the more social liberal Pacific Northwest where he said Blacks, Mexicans and esp Japanese and Chinese are numerous in his hometown in the Bellingham-Mount Vernon, WA state area along the Canadian border known for similar demographics (Indians and South Asians in replacement of Latin Americans on the BC, Canadian side).

When Jacob Beck was born, Triesenberg was simply a part of the German Confederation. Lichetenstein wouldn’t even begin to build an idea of being a separate ethnicity until its seperation from the Confederation nearly a decade later.
Glenn Beck is a great guy. He has a lot of critics though and got called a lying sack of dog mess.
