Many towns in the state of Veracruz have African names i.e. Mandinga, Mocambo (where my grandfather is from) Motamboa, Mozambique, Nyanga (now called Yanga) all these names are African and they are names of Mexican towns. The very popular Mexican verb Chinga is an African word as is the word Chamba meaning job. Mexicos second president, Vicente Guerrery, was of Indigenous/African blood. The last gov. of ca. before it became part of U.S. was Pio Pico Rivera an Indigenous/African Mex. originally of Sinaloa Mex. where 2/3 of Sinaloas pipulation was Mulato during the early 1900‘s. Emiliano Zapata was of Indigenous /African blood as was Pancho Villa. Both men were dark with kinky hair. I personally dont know of any pure Indigenous people with kinky hair. In the movies these two Mexican heroes are usually portrayed by white guys like yui brenner but thats Hollywood. Once upon a time in Hollywood black people were played by white people with painted faces. Don’t get me wrong. There are some white people in Mexico but they are not the majority. In fact they are the minority. They are the ones that make you scratch your head when they say they are Mexican. Don’t scratch your head anymore. Mexican is a nationality just as American is and just as there are people of different racial makeup in the U.S. there are people of different racial background. The difference betweeb Mexico’s slave days and the U.S. slave days is that Mexico allowed inter racial marriage from the start back in 1526 and continued for 500 years while the U.S. just started legally inter racial marriage less than 85 years ago….. Read Dr. Beltran’s book. He received much trouble from the white ruling class of Mexico for writting this book. He was forced to change subjects…..
