Emmanuelle Béart is a French actress. She is the daughter of singer/songwriter Guy Béart (born Guy Isidore Béhart-Hasson) and model Geneviève Galéa (née Guillery).

Emmanuelle’s father, who was born in Cairo, Egypt, was Jewish, and was of Sephardi Jewish and Ashkenazi Jewish, Russian Jewish, descent. Emmanuelle’s father discussed his religion in a 2010 interview. Emmanuelle’s mother has Belgian [Walloon] and Greek ancestry.

Emmanuelle has a daughter with her former husband, actor Daniel Auteuil; a son with her former partner, music producer David François Moreau; and a son with her former husband, actor Michaël Cohen.

Emmanuelle’s paternal grandparents were David Béhart-Hasson and Amélia Taral.

Emmanuelle’s maternal grandfather was Jules Guillery (the son of Albert Georges Guillery and Mina Orban). Jules was born in Brussels, Belgium. Albert was the son of Jules Guillery and Cornelie Drory.

Emmanuelle’s maternal grandmother was Nelly/Elena Nicolaidu/Diacomo. Nelly was of Greek descent (and of the Greek Orthodox religion).

    I read that her grandmother is Nelly Nicolaidu. Her parents were Greek Orthodox from Malta. They moved to Turkey. In 2010, she was 107.
