Ego Nwodim is an American actress and comedian. She is a cast member on the show Saturday Night Live.
As best as I can find, her surname traces back to the Ikwerre ethnicity in Nigeria, which most consider a subgroup of Igbo, but I can’t confirm Ikwerre. She’s definitely of some kind of Igbo sub-ethnicity in the southeast of the country, though.
