Doug Sweetland is an American animator and filmmaker. He directed and wrote the short film Presto, from Pixar, and co-directed the feature film Storks. He was a directing animator on Monsters, Inc., a supervising animator on Cars, and an animator on Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles, on which he was also a storyboard artist; all Pixar films. He was also lead animator on Pixar’s short Boundin’.

Doug’s paternal grandfather was Paul C. Sweetland (the son of Paul Chandler Sweetland and Eva Faye Hainline). Doug’s grandfather Paul was born in Kansas. Doug’s great-grandfather Paul was born in Missouri, the son of Leon Hiram Sweetland and Ula Chandler. Eva was born in Kansas, the daughter of Robert Oliver Hainline and Elizabeth A. Hargett.
