small correction
*Lillian/Gillian/Lillie Hoban
change “Calabrese” into “Calabrian”
same for Steve Scalise and Stanley Tucci
Torino -> Turin, Piedmont
Both Josephine Gallucci’s parents were from Calabria
We usually write the names of cities as they appear on the document (sans some typo corrections or added diacritics). His documents say Torino, so I went with the Italian spelling.
Rheinland-Pfalz or Rhineland-Palatinate? place names must be written in English IMO
So it’s not Königsberg, Posen or Danzig either? Since those aren’t the accepted English spellings? Is it Kasa or Košice? Fiume or Rijeka? What’s accepted in English as a standard changes all the time.
Just to add that Silvio’s full name was Silvio Luigi Amedeo Giuseppe Savant-Ros.
His father’s was Giuseppe Savant-Ros.
