Actually a lot of names, in any language, have Greek roots.
It’s still a Portuguese name anyway. So because it’s unusual it’s likely he has another ancestry too? That’s not valid reasoning. Everyone doesn’t have a common name.
Besides, it’s her middle name (although it appears it’s the name she goes by).

Hmmm… I don’t remember exactly, but I’m fairy sure it was from that link that’s now dead. I remember that’s where I got his parents’ names from, and that they were Portuguese. His middle name starts with W., and since his parents’ name were correct, I would guess the middle name is too.
