Dennis Rodman is an American professional basketball player, and actor. A power forward and small forward, he played for the Detroit Pistons, the San Antonio Spurs, the Chicago Bulls, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA), the Long Beach Jam of NBA G League, Fuerza Regia, the Orange County Crush, Torpan Pojat, the Tijuana Dragons, and Brighton Bears. He starred in the films Double Team and Simon Sez. He is nicknamed “the Worm.” He is 6′6″.
Dennis is the son of Shirley and Philander Rodman, Jr., a U.S. Air Force enlisted member, who fought in the Vietnam War. He was partly raised in Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas. Dennis has a daughter with his former wife Annie Bakes; and two children, college basketball player DJ Rodman (Dennis Thayne Rodman) and professional soccer player Trinity Rodman, with his former wife Michelle Moyer.
Dennis’s paternal grandfather was Philander Rodman (the son of Anderson Rodman and Lula B. Hall).
Dennis’s paternal grandmother was Lou Pearl Evans (the daughter of James Evans and Persilla Bean).
