Christophe Lemaitre is a French sprinter. He specialises in the 100 and 200 metres. He was the first white athlete to break the 10-second barrier in an officially timed 100m event. He is 6′3″.

Christophe is the son of Marie Thérèse and Christian Lemaitre.

Christophe’s maternal grandfather is named Lorenzo Micheli (the son of Bortolo Micheli). Lorenzo was born in Frerola, Province of Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy.

Christophe’s maternal grandmother is named Anna Negri. Anna is from Romagna, Italy.
