You bring up a point with me,my own family does that to me.There are a lot of times after I’ve talk to them on the phone or face to face, that I hear later from my mother about how I talk like a white person. But what do they expect, they were raised in the south, and I wasn’t.Plus I’m more educated than they are. However to make them feel more at ease,I just insult them, you know call them (sluts, dogface hooker, fish face etc)

Cannot deny any of that
it’s completely true !!!!!
i have a lot of white friends who came into my house and said woaouh !!! lol
and a lot of white people who say to me : oh waouh, you speak french very well … all i want to answer is :it’s because i’m french dumbass !!!!!!
and on the other hand, i have some stupid black french people who say to me : you speak like a white girl, it’s because you’re ashamed to be black bla bla bla !!!BUT HOW DOES A BLACK FRENCH IS SUPPOSED TO SPEAK ???
like a french person doesn’t it??? But according to them, if you’re proud to be black you have to speak french with an african accent or something, but i was born in france, so i speak with a french accent !!!!
When i ask this same people about the african history, about who they are, they can’t give me an answer, because they don’t have a clue about it whereas i’m doing researches everytime i can about african history !!! Who is really proud to be black ??? lol
ppl have certain sterotypical ideas about other ppl just because of their race…have u eva had a white person enter into your house and be completely shocked at how clean it is? and ask you a million times if your house really is your house…or, if u write well or speak well in a European language…u mite just have a white person say to you…”you sound so educated” in disbelief of coz…BUT thats not the end of it coz you get butchered by ppl from your own race if you don’t meet their expectations of what they consider to be black…part of the reason why those kidz mite have insulted you is coz they felt like u were trying to be one of them…white…you did’nt fit the stereotype about black ppl…so that upset them…and so they called you names…when you went to be together with your ppl in Cameroon…the same thing happened…you got kinda excluded coz you did’nt meet their expectations of what it means to be black. Each individual’s case must be considerd in isolation from other cases…your story is different so I can’t judge you the same way as I would judge my friends from Africa…who grew up in Africa but speak no African languages. You grew up in Paris and, had very few ppl to practice with…you were not surrounded by ppl who speak your language and showed no interest in learning…its different…thats why social expectations can be so dangerous
To tshegotfatso: i live in europe and everytime i go to cameroon, cameroonian people call me “french girl” because they hear my parisian accent !!! and in france when i was in preschool, white kids insulted me and say “you’re black as shit, disgusting” !!! But it was back in the days, today nobody can insult me for my origins.
To Fuzzybear: Idon’t know If Elvis was black or not , all i know it’s that man stole music works of black people and bought all his legend with it.
