furthermore if both ur friggin parents are black then so r u ur not all of a sudden “latino” if u hav 2 full afro parents (like she does) and they just happen to b born in cuba. she was born in america so yes she has cuban influence, no she is not rly cuban. and the puerta rican on here just because u dont consider yourself black doesnt mean u r not. my grandmother has black white and indian bt she grew up in the old days wen yes that was the rule 1 drop of black blood it doesnt matter if your white as snow (she could pass for white hair in all just as i could pass for pure latina) you were a negro the white ppl wouldnt let you forget it either, im in texas its 2010 and its stl like that with some people.
so before you go saying this is a black rule miss “puerto rican” it is not it is something we blacks made up its something we acknowledge because for so long it was law for us everyday we didnt get a break from it there was no such thing as black but cuban. i am very proud of my black side as well as my indian white and hispanic side but i dont take it lightly when ppl put down african americans or deny us u can right well get overr urslf:(

she is all in all black trust me im the same race whoever said that she is african american but her parents are cuban is right. just because u come from somewhere does not mean that u are that race just that nationality yes theres a difference. she might get mad if u call her black (as many african americans do because theres so much that comes with being black, steriotypes, jokes, comments, racism, etc.) but thats what she is just from cuba. furthermore i was born in the usa and i speak fluent spanish and i consider myself very beautiful.(5 time pageant champ thank you). beauty is in the genes and spanish is a learned behavior. you can agree with me or not but trust me i know what im talkin abt

MariposaSedosa, as Wiki is not always a reliable source, and as people debate the proportion of Black and White people that make up the Cuban population, I have deleted that part of the post.
