She was born Camilla Belle Routh in Los Angeles. Camilla’s father, Jack Wesley Routh, a country music composer and performer, is from Kingman, a small town in Kansas, and has English, German, and French ancestry. Camilla’s mother, Deborah Cristina, a fashion designer, is Brazilian. Camilla stated in an interview:

Well my Mum is Brazilian but her family originated from Portugal and I think there’s some Italian in there as well. My dad is American but French on his grandmother’s side and there might be some Native American in there as well – so it’s really mixed up but the main part is European!

Camilla speaks Portuguese and Spanish. She is named after a Brazilian soap opera character, Camila, from Cavalo de Aço.

Camilla’s paternal grandfather was Jack Eugene Routh (the son of Jacob Routh and Edith “Leota” Morss). Camilla’s grandfather Jack was born in Cheney, Kansas. Camilla’s great-grandfather Jacob was the son of Francis Marion Routh and Amanda Jane Robbins. Edith was the daughter of Amos Melvin Morss and Sarah Belle Lawman.

Camilla’s maternal grandfather likely was Domingos Martiniano Lauleta/Lauletta (the son of Francesco “Francisco” Lauletta/Lauleta and Maria Antonia D’Amato/Damatto). Domingos’ parents were born in Casalbuono, province of Salerno, Campania, Italy. Francesco was the son of Giuseppe Lauletta and Maria Teresa Cataldo.

Camilla’s maternal grandmother was Maria Gonçalves Dias (the daughter of Alfredo António Gonçalves Dias and Isaura/Izaura Lopes da Rocha). Maria was born in Santos, São Paulo, Brazil. Alfredo was born in Vila Pouca de Aguiar, Vila Real, Portugal, the son of Joaquim Gonçalves Dias and Miquelina Rosa Alves Borges. Isaura was born in Portugal, the daughter of Maria de Jesus, who was from Febres, Cantanhede.

Wouldn’t have guessed Camilla is another Brazilian with direct Portuguese and Italian ancestry.

    My suggestion:
    *father – English, German, French
    *maternal grandfather – Italian
    *maternal grandmother – Portuguese

I honestly believe Mr. Gould was Camilla’s step-grandfather. Her mom isn’t listed as his daughter on his immigration records. Also, her grandmother had married a different man two years before Camilla’s mom was born.

Camilla’s maternal grandfather likely was Domingos Martiniano Lauleta/Lauletta (the son of Francesco “Francisco” Lauletta/Lauleta and Maria Antonia D’Amato/Damatto). Francesco was born in Casalbuono, province of Salerno, Campania, Italy, the son of Giuseppe Lauletta and Maria Teresa Cataldo. Maria Antonia was also born in Casalbuono.

I’ve found the source of his Native American ancestry. It’s on her “Robbins” line:

Amanda J. Robbins was the daughter of William F. Robbins and Sarah Catherine Fletcher (the daughter of James Fletcher and Rhoda Ann Griffin). James was said to be 3/4 Choctaw and 1/4 (Scots)-Irish

Camilla’s maternal grandmother is named Maria Diane (and not Deborah).

Bela’s mother is possibly white or indigenous? They probably say that because she has black hair and brown eyes. Looking at the features of the face one notices that it has nothing to do with an India. Female Indians of Brazil are of extremely low stature, with very round faces and very thick noses. The eyes are so drawn that a dumb Yankee would call it an Asian. Not everyone born in Brazil is Black or Indian. In the South of Brazil most are Germans or Italians of pure bloodline, even if they are Latinos are quite white, since Brazil was colonized by Portuguese and white Spaniards, some even redheads like the actress Marina Ruy Barbosa. Not every Latin is dark. There are also blondes and high descendants of Dutch and German, for example is the model Gisele Bundchen and singer Otto, who has nothing to do with Indians or Blacks, Gisele is a White Latina descendant of European Europeans and the singer of the Brazilian Northeast Otto is a Redhead with a tall stature.
