Camilla’s father, Jack Wesley Routh, a country music composer and performer, is from Kingman, a small town in Kansas, and has English, German, and French ancestry. Camilla’s mother, Deborah Cristina, a fashion designer, is Brazilian. Camilla stated in an interview:

Well my Mum is Brazilian but her family originated from Portugal and I think there’s some Italian in there as well. My dad is American but French on his grandmother’s side and there might be some Native American in there as well – so it’s really mixed up but the main part is European!

Camilla speaks Portuguese and Spanish. She is named after a Brazilian soap opera character, Camila, from Cavalo de Aço.

Camilla’s maternal grandmother was Maria Gonçalves Dias (the daughter of Alfredo António Gonçalves Dias and Isaura/Izaura Lopes da Rocha). Maria was born in Santos, São Paulo, Brazil. Alfredo was born in Vila Pouca de Aguiar, Vila Real, Portugal, the son of Joaquim Gonçalves Dias and Miquelina Rosa Alves Borges. Her maternal grandmother is Deborah, possibly Gould.

  2. allennox says:

Definitely see some Italian in her

    Correction.

Is it certain that Camilla doesn’t have any Jewish heritage?

This twitter post has me wondering:

Well, she was evidently raised Catholic. Her father isn’t Jewish. I don’t know her mother’s genealogy, except for what Camilla said, “her family originated from Portugal and I think there’s some Italian in there as well”.

All I know about her mom, is her name, Deborah Cristina Gould. Gould sometimes can be a name Jews use to Anglicize names like Gold/stein/berg and the like, but that middle name makes me pretty dubious.

She has those soft Portuguese features just like Nelly Furtado. Very pretty.

She’s super pretty and I love her name. I thought she was italian or croatian.

Yep, she is prettier than many blondes. She certainly said that her mother was a descendant of Indians because she has black hair and brown eyes. Those born with these characteristics in Brazil generally think that they are descendants of Indians. But it has no meaning. Brazilian India generally has a small structure, very dark black skin and faces resembling soccer balls. The eyes are so drawn that some say they are descendants of Asians to deceive the other foreign donkeys. Belle or Bela, as it is spoken in Brazil, is white even using this tan. Her features are very reminiscent of the Czech girls. Generally, those who get a tan in Brazil are treated as non-white mestizos and suffer racism, and not true, they are white with European descent, but very burned by the sun. Because of this confusion some women avoid exposing themselves to sunlight so they do not even match the browns.
